Lucknow, October 9: Through his social media account on X, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared the story of a 'Swastha-Saksham Uttar Pradesh' with the people on Friday. He portrayed the transformation from the necessity of seeking treatment to the assurance of healthcare security as the identity of a Swastha Uttar Pradesh.

With pledged support from Antyodaya, the BJP's double-engineered government in the state has moved beyond the healthcare system that was prevalent before 2017 and is making clear its goal of creating Swastha. The 'One District-One Mafia,' but now with its commitment to the establishment of a medical college, Uttar Pradesh is setting new standards in healthcare. This is demonstrated by this transformation. In 2017, there were only 36 medical colleges in the state, but now there are 85. From 4,690 to over 13,600 seats, the number of MBBS seats has increased substantially. The Chief Minister stated that over 10 crore people in the state who are covered by the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Mukhyamantri Junagayan have been able to live without fear of expensive medical treatments for serious illnesses, according to official sources.
